Remedy's roots run deep in Fond du Lac. Our founder grew up around the trade — his dad ran a local plumbing company in the 1990s called Affordable Plumbing. He started his own apprenticeship alongside his brother in 2003 and never looked back.
By 2016, after years of being the one other plumbers called when they couldn't figure something out, he founded Remedy Plumbing. The name came after about a month of late nights trying to settle on what to call the company. The crew had always been the ones who could troubleshoot the tough problems — they always had the remedy. The name clicked.
The mission was simple: build a plumbing company where the work gets done right, the customer gets treated well, and the crew gets home in time for parent-teacher conferences. Ten years later, that's still how Remedy runs.
Our founder starts his Wisconsin plumbing apprenticeship, working alongside his brother and learning the trade hands-on.
Five years of apprenticeship pay off — he earns his journeyman plumber's license.
He sits for the Master Plumber exam and earns Wisconsin License #943998 — the credential that makes Remedy possible.

We work Mon–Fri 7am–5pm. No after-hours emergency service. We chose that on purpose so our team can be home with their families.
1-year labor warranty on everything we install. We check manufacturer warranties on your behalf before quoting. We do what we said we'd do.

Remedy tried that for the first four years. After a hundred middle-of-the-night calls that turned into exactly two paying jobs, the math stopped working — for the company and for the families at home.
